Great River Relay
This is what I have been up to at the end of August.
Check out a link at You may recognize some faces from the picture. We ran the 207 mile race from La Crosse, WI to St. Paul, MN, as an ultra team with six members, and ran it as a fundraiser for Luther Point Bible Camp and will definitely raises between $4-5,000 dollars to send kids to camp who cannot afford it themselves!
We had a great time, though a few points were pretty painful!
AND NOW, it is on to the school year and all the great activities that come with it! I must admit I feel a bit more comfortable the second time through. A BIT! Rally Sunday will be wonderful to get going, and we have a new members Sunday at a congregation that has not experienced this much as of late--God has been gracious to us in allowing us to welcome in new folks to the area.

Awesome job running the relay. God for your bodies, souls, and the camp.
Rally Day went well, although as the first one I was here for I have already thought of things to change for next year - but it was exciting to have many people in church again after their summer hiatus.
