True Blessings

Having just returned from Luther Seminary's Convocation and several phone calls I am reminded how blessed I am to have so many great colleagues and friends in ministry situation who care about me and are interested in the ministry I am called to do. These conversations are fruitful and life-giving. It is such a blessings to have a community outside of my congregations that I can reach to for support and mutual up-lifting. It is also such an honor to hear other stories of blessings and struggle from those who I have interacted with. Ministry is REAL and it is great to interact with people who have their hands and hearts immersed in a community and want to discern what God is doing in that place.

Thanks you to each of you who are part of this community who I have interacted with in the past two weeks and in the few days to come. I have a suspicion that we love the church and it is important that we stay in love with it...

A toast to that...Paz

It was great to see you again! It's a great joy for me to see my friends and colleagues whom I've been keeping tabs on via these blogs. (Ugh, I sound like a stalker.) Anyway, blessings on your ministry. I look forward to reading about your adventures to come.

Chad,
It was great to see you even if it was brief. It seemed like whenever we ran into each other we were both going in different directions. From your blog it seems things are going well for you. Thats great!!! Take care.
