Incredible

We had an incredible cottage meetings last night that lasted 3 hours. I told them they could walk out after 90 minutes...The system I am in is very healthy and it is exciting to have people asking for change and wanting me to lead it...of course that brings with a whole set of issues to discern, but that is why I am having cottage meetings. This is kind of neat as well--a pastor in the area asked about the cottage meetings that we are doing and wondered if the idea could be stolen. It is fun that a positive word is getting out in such a short time.

On the other side of the coin I am in the presence of pranksters. The confirmation boys filled the sidewalk full of water before class and the sidewalk under the front door was glare ice. Yeah, never a dull moment. Kinda funny actually, but do I have to be the responsible one and let parents know what was done? I suppose someone could really have gotten hurt. Paz.

By the way--48 degrees--what in the world?

I echo justin, what would like be without kids pranks. so long as no one actually got hurt, then you can probably ignore it (although you might want to let them know you know...just so that they don't think you are clueless)

cottage meetings sound great. we are starting some here and i am excited about it, especially if they can go as well as yours do.(perhaps too high of hopes, but what is life without hope)

glad to hear there is some "buzz" around town about you and your congregations. that is great.
