which is what

A very short post this evening...about growing room

to remind you that when you start the words of institution and start talking about the bread, it would be better to not pick up the wine. At least you can realize half way though that you aren't talking about what is in your hand, look up, realize your wife is the only one looking, switch them and move on.

Ahhh yeah...duh.

bread, wine...well i guess it matters.

i knocked over the pix (the container holding the extra wafers) my first sunday and sent about fifty wafers across the altar. don't think anyone noticed, but it was a good reminder lest i ever think i am the one who is acting in the sacrament and it is about me getting it right...

leland is right, it is grace. and it is also the opportunity to learn humility, a pretty important thing for a pastor to have.

hi, chad, i don't know if you know that i use this thing too, i'm just bad at posting. (i keep my blog semi-private, but i'll email you the link if you're interested.)

during my meet-n-greet sunday, a man who had a stroke dropped his wafer into the chalice, and the senior pastor handing them out was too far away. needless to say that, before i could react, there was fishing going on. it doesn't bother me, it's alcohol after all, but you know there are those who freak out at that sort of thing.

Kendi...please send me your link. That would be great. I have wondered lately what you have been up to. Paz.
